Hmm. Did this change since 3.0/3.1? I tried to use one spline object,
manipulated into several different positions before freezing. It did not
morph correctly (point order) and I had to manipulate points in the real
polys. I thought it was kinda bogus then, but haven't had to use the
technique since.
